英语角 | 上期回顾sharing
Due to the coming holiday,
we had only one English Corner activity
last week.
Even so,we still can't forget the joy
of chatting and playing games
under the light of the street lamp
in front of the library.
由于假期的到来
我们上星期只有一次英语角活动
尽管如此
我们仍忘不了在图书馆前的路灯的照耀下
聊天游戏的喜悦之情
First of all, foreign teachers and students
shared some interesting things
happened on April Fool's Day
that let us have a lot of fun.
Tracy’s whisper added tension to the scene,
but the end of the event was humorous.
首先
外教和同学们分享了四一愚人节发生的趣事
Tracy外教的悄声低语将现场渲染上紧张气氛
而事件的结局却很好笑
And then, it is a whole new stage:
a kick in one's gallop!
A game just sounds fanciful like its name.
接着，是全新环节：异想天开
让你奇思妙想，脑洞大开
Our staff showed viewers some
cartoon pictures,
then our students and foreign teachers
shared with us the short stories
they had in mind.
我们向大家展示几幅卡通图片
然后由现场的观众与外教
分享他们由图联想出的小故事
There are four pictures on the first
piece of paper,
including a policeman,
a monkey driving a car,
a traffic accident and a glass of beer.
On the second piece of paper,
there are a flash of lightning, a big tree,
an old man, a carrot and a baby.
After giving the pictures,
I believe you may come up with
many interesting stories.
第一张纸上有一名警察，开车的小猴
交通事故和一杯啤酒等四张图片
第二张纸上是一道闪电，一棵大树，一名老爷爷
一颗萝卜和一个小孩
图片一出
相信大家心中也有一个个有趣的故事了吧
After that,in the third stage--free talk,
Chris, a new friend from Wales,
introduced his hometown to us.
He also shared his 11 years of
travelling experiences
from north to south of China with us.
随后，在第三个环节——free talk中
来自威尔士的新朋友Chris
向我们介绍了他的故乡
并且分享了他十一年来在中国南南北北的游历
Tracy is gentle.
She encouraged all of us to speak English
by asking her questions one by one.
With the help of Tracy,
everyone has an opportunity
to convey themselves in English,
which was very helpful to guide us
to speak English boldly indeed.
而温柔的Tracy则通过一个接一个地问问题
来鼓励我们大家说英语
在她的帮助下
每个人都有机会用英语来表达自己
这对指导我们大胆地讲英语是非常有帮助的
